PRODUCTION

ICAS operates in Superconductivity and Cryogenics R&D and production, mainly in the design, manufacturing and testing of superconducting devices for power electronics, as conductors and small to medium size magnets.
The main on-going and completed productions are listed in the following:

On-going productions

2010 Supply of about 20 km of ITER TF conductors (video), 22 km of ITER PF1/6 conductors (jacketing only) and
of all the JT60SA TF conductors (about 30km).
2016 Qualification and supply of MgB2 cables for the HL-LHC Superconducting Link.
2017 Qualification Phase for the production of the ITER In-Vessel Coils Conductors (Mineral Insulated Copper Conductors).

Completed productions
