ICAS operates in Superconductivity and Cryogenics R&D and production, mainly in the design, manufacturing and testing of superconducting devices for power electronics, as conductors and small to medium size magnets.

2021 Supply of CIC conductors for the superconducting magnetic system of the
DTT - Divertor Tokamak Test facilty reactor.
2019 Supply of MgB2 Cable Assemblies for the HL-LHC Superconducting Links.
2019 Manufacturing of the ITER In-Vessel Coils Conductors (Mineral Insulated Copper Conductors).


Completed productions


2020 Manufacturing of Tefzel Insulated internally cooled Cu conductors, with stainless steel jacket, for the ASDEX Upgrade fusion experiment at Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik in Garching (Munich).
2019 Manufacturing of n.1 Joint Sample for EU-DEMO TF coils.
2019 Supply of 100m trial conductor and 781m TF conductor for the National Institute for Quantum Technology (QST), in collaboration with Kiswire LTD.
2017-2018 Qualification Phase for the production of the ITER In-Vessel Coils Conductors (Mineral Insulated Copper Conductors).
2016-2018 Qualification and supply of MgB2 cables for the HL-LHC Superconducting Link.
2010-2018 Supply of about 20 km of ITER TF conductors (video), 22 km of ITER PF1/6 conductors (jacketing only) and

2016 Feasibility studies of an alternative design of the ITER In-Vessel Coils Conductors (Mineral Insulated Copper Conductors).
